Tabitha Geiger is a Director in the Legal & Regulatory Compliance Group of Blue River Partners, LLC (“Blue River”). She primarily focuses on assisting clients with implementing and administering regulatory compliance programs; coordinating response plans for regulatory examinations and inquiries; forensic testing of compliance policies and procedures; and managing project engagements for alternative asset managers, including working with legal counsel on fund launch projects and conducting mock U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) examinations. Ms. Geiger’s clients include large and mid-size registered investment advisers to hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, and energy investment funds.
Ms. Geiger joined Blue River in 2016 as an Associate. Prior to joining Blue River, Ms. Geiger served as a legal intern for USAA and Calpine where she assisted in analyzing various contractual agreements and enterprise-wide policies. Additionally, Ms. Geiger also spent three years as a law clerk for Taylor Book Allen & Morris LLP where she assisted in cases involving commercial disputes, personal injuries, and product liability claims.
Ms. Geiger graduated with honors from South Texas College of Law and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts with honors from Texas A&M University.
